There is a double bed cabin and the twin bunk bedroom cabin can easily be made into a home office with one of the bunks converting into a 6ft long desk top for plenty of space for paperwork. There is an entrance at each end of the boat which makes it ideal for friends to stay over or two colleagues to share.
There is a fully tiled and fitted kitchen with full sized gas cooker which includes a grill, and 4 gas hobs, electric fridge/freezer and stainless steel sink. It has fitted cupboards and tiled surfaces.
It also has a very attractive private deck accessible from the lounge with a bistro table and chairs with unrestricted views of the river and Kew Bridge while also looking onto Kew Gardens. Here you can enjoy the fresh air, dine and feed the swans.
It is a delightfully quiet spot where you feel you are in the country setting away from the bustling crowds. Nestled on a quiet private mooring on the Thames by Kew Bridge, the houseboat offers open plan living with stunning river views. A very desirable area, close to the historic riverside pubs and restaurants on Strand on the Green where there are a selection of delightful river pubs and restaurants. If you like canoeing or paddle boarding there is a local club nearby. The mooring is located by the exclusive luxury St George's development with £million penthouse apartments and where 3 bedroom river view apartments are regularly sold for in excess of £1 million. There is parking nearby.
The boat is only a few hundred yards from the riverside pub/wine bar which is by the foot of Kew bridge. Just on the short walk to the overland station is a delicatessen selling an excellent selection of wine and fresh produce, a late opening Sainsbury local, and a string of new restaurants and pubs.
It is near the start of the M4 so Heathrow is a short distance away and gives easy access to the M25 and central London.
Waterloo is only 29 minutes by Overground train from Kew Bridge station, just a few minutes’ walk away.
There are two Tube stations to choose from on the district line, buses in every direction and even a tour boat that sails into Westminster, the centre of London and Hampton Court Palace.
Less than 30 minutes stunning river walk to Richmond giving the impression you are in the countryside. 20 minutes walk from Chiswick and 20 minutes by transport to Hammersmith. Out of traffic hours 30 minutes drive to Heathrow.
The entrance with the fountain is shown in the pictures is opposite the boat and can be a short cut to the train station or alternative a leisurely walk on the river path to the wonderful Strand on the Green riverside pubs just under Kew bridge.
