Tallulah, a 70ft x 12 ft widebeam has been our family home for the last few years, and has been both beautiful and practical, but now with 3 children its time to move on and let some one else enjoy this wonderful boat and lifestyle.
In the spacious open plan kitchen she has a Miele washing machine, undercounter Liebherr fridge and seperate Liebherr freezer, an eyeline full size oven/grill and a 5 ring hob at the window. She also boasts a large ceramic sink and a good amount of cupboard space, including a coat/cleaning cupboard. The worktop is a stunning solid wood and really makes the space impressive. It is designed in a such a way to give a large island/breakfast bar with high seats.
The living room/saloon is a very flexible space with no built in furniture apart from the very efficient Morso mutifuel burner. We had a large corner sofa at one point, it now has a small sofa and comfy chairs and always has had a fold away dinning table which has space to be left up . We had a birthday party with 25 people once!
The second bedroom is perfect as a guest room or for 2/ 3 people, it has an oak double bed and a single above with a solid oak ladder. If you wanted it for just one child, the double could be (permanently ish)removed giving you a high sleeper. There is space for draws or a wardrobe and space to hide things under the bed
The bathroom is a good size, and boasts an L shaped bath/shower with mixer taps, heated towel rail a sink with waterfall tap and a pump out Saniflo toilet. It also has built in storage and space for a laundry basket.
The master bedroom can have any bed you like in it, we had a super king size, but currently has a double and a large solid oak sliding door wardrobe. It also has solid ash steps out on to the bow which can fit a small table and chairs.
She has vetus bowthrusters running off 2 leisure batteries at the front,
And 240 electricity is powered by 4 leisure batteries and a 2500w Sterling inverter/charger.
There is 1kw's worth of solar on the roof and 170w alternator for charging also the option of shore power (which we have never used as continuous cruisers).
The engine is a 70hp Isuzu that was marineised by canal line and has been regularly serviced, never missed a beat.
She has the rear pram cover and seating with storage underneath on the back deck which is lovely in the summer, and great for the wellies and coal in the winter.
The fuel tank is 500L
Water tank is 700L
She also has central heating with 7 day timer powered by a Webasto
And a calorifire (hot water tank) heated with either the engine running or the Webasto.
This boat needs to be viewed. It is a very different style to many out there as we fitted it out ourselves after living afloat for several years on other boats. She is practical and flexible and can suit the needs of many!
Please feel free to contact me any time for more information or to book a socially distance viewing 😊 probably best to call or text on the number provided
